I am in awe every time I see Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre perform its classic piece "Revelations." Alvin Ailey had a gift of combining the beauty of the body and movement with unrelenting spirit and courage to overcome the most confining obstacles of life to reach freedom of body and mind. For me "Revelations" represents such a beautiful visual of an opening in the body and mind, a realization that leads us to the next step of our journey to Oneness. After seeing "Revelations", you feel uplifted and inspired. After my first yoga class, I had the exact same feeling and many revelatory experiences followed since that time. Each experience leading me on my journey to discovering my truth. Thus, Yoga Revelations was born.
